Recently, I had two very different conversations with two teachers.
Both of them were curious about Bitcoin, but their perspectives and their questions couldn’t have been more different.
👩🏫 Teacher 1: The Early Mover
She had lost her job and was building a consulting business.
One and a half years ago, she put $3,000 into Bitcoin.
Today, that same portfolio is worth $9,300.
Her question to me was simple:
“CJ, Bitcoin seems risky. Should I look into new coins with better technology?”
👨🏫 Teacher 2: The Hesitant Starter
This teacher holds a senior role at a school.
For years, she’s been telling herself she’d invest, but lifestyle expenses always came first.
Whatever she saved, she spent.
Her question was different:
“I think I missed it. Is it too late to start now especially with the UAE pushing Bitcoin and regulation?”
What Both Teachers Taught Me
Their questions are the same questions most people ask:
- Is there something newer and better than Bitcoin?
- Did I already miss the opportunity?
Everyone wants that “easy money” moment, the shortcut to wealth.
But here’s the truth: there are no shortcuts.
Central banks can print money out of thin air. We can’t.
That’s why Bitcoin is different it’s scarce, decentralized, and sound money.
Other coins? They’re mostly experiments fighting for attention.
Bitcoin doesn’t need to be compared. It’s already proven itself as the hardest form of money.
Where to Begin (Practical Steps)
If you’re wondering how to start, here’s what I always recommend:
- Get a non-custodial wallet – your keys, your coins.
- Get some sats – even small amounts count.
- Send some sats – learn how transactions actually work.
- Practice – move coins between wallets until you’re comfortable.
- DCA for a year – consistently invest a fixed amount, regardless of price.
Do this consistently, and your future self will thank you.
The Real Lesson
The difference between the two teachers isn’t intelligence, income, or opportunity.
It’s simply this:
- One took action.
- The other kept thinking about it.
And that’s where the magic happens not in knowing about Bitcoin, but in actually doing something about it.
👉 So let me ask you:
What’s the real reason you haven’t started yet?
